Okobo Development Union (ODU) founded in 1935 invites all sons and daughters of Okobo to its 2024 Okobuo National Youth Summit tagged ‘Arise and Build’, under the distinguished Chairmanship of Rev. (Dr) John Andem.
Those billed to deliver keynote address at the event are Dr Eyoh Etim, Lecturer, Akwa Ibom State University, and Dr Daniel Asuquo of the University of Uyo, Uyo.
The event takes place on Monday, 12th August, 2024, at Okobo Development Union Hall (ODU Hall), Okopedi, Okobo Local Government Area, Akwa Ibom State. Time is 10 a.m.
Other programmes lined up as a buildup to the Youth Summit event are: A Solemn Assembly to be held on Saturday, 10th August, 2024, and a friendly football match on Sunday, 11th August, 2024, between Okobo Development Union Members and Okobuo Mbawa Youths.
