Eyoh Etim’s Virtual Chants presents an instance of Fbterature in poetry. The poems were first posted on Facebook before being harvested and published just as they are on the social media platform, with all the likes and comments from readers. This is the author’s modest contribution to the emergence of internet literature and digital humanities. The poems themselves bemoan the fate of postcolonial Africa and Nigeria through the witty depiction of the angst of the times in the poet’s milieu.
